Driver for WebCam with a zc0301plus chip
I got a WebCam for free, but with no driver. And since no generic driver was buildin XP I thought “easy come easy go”.
I decided to take it a part and do a litle peaking inside.
What I did find was a chip named ZC0301Plus.
I then turned to Google and after an hour I got lucky.
I found a driver at a .ch site, and the funny thing was that it was the zip file itself that was indexed
and not the html page linking to the file. So it was pure luck.
While searching for the driver I found others like me, but only a few of them finally managed to find a driver.
I have made a local copy of the driver for my personal archive purpose, but feel free to take a copy yourself.

Hi there, i found my webcam in the shed- it is a cute little thing but I had lost the small disc that came with it ages ago. I was pulling my hairs out trying to get the driver for it. After trying every trick I could think of under the sun, I finally in desperation took it apart and found the ZC0301plus scribble on the chip and googled it.Thanks a million for the driver. now the cam works a treat and is in fact much better than any other webcam I have come across. it makes lovely videos as well which can be played back on the windows media player. once again thankls a million.

I picked this webcam up for 8 bucks at a store called XS Cargo, and it didn’t come with any documentation, and there was no brand name to be found anywhere on the packaging. I had to take it apart, and thankfully, yours was the first google result I stumbled on. Drivers worked perfectly. Thanks again!

I have a Logitic communicater stx. Web Cam.Its a little finnickey and I loose part of the video sometimes. Any suggestions?
